1. Disclaimer

Use of the sauna and any Soul Sweats Experiences are done so at your own risk. We ask that you contact your GP if at all in doubt about safely using the sauna and participating in any of the Soul Sweats Experiences.

If any of the below apply to you (please note, this is not a comprehensive list), we advise you to seek your GP’s advice:

  • If you’re pregnant
  • If you’ve had a heart attack or stroke
  • If you’re taking any medications
  • If you have cardiovascular conditions and/or problems
  • You have epilepsy
  • You have asthma or breathing conditions
  • High or low blood pressure
  • If you have arterial disease
  • If you have joint or muscle injury

The sauna is wood-fired and extremely hot. Do not touch the stove, stove door, flue chimney, sauna rocks, or surrounding fire guards. Pour water onto the stones only as instructed. When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding.

Please note:

  • Children 16 and under are not permitted to use the sauna
  • Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in or around the sauna
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons
  • Remove any hanging jewellery before entering the sauna to prevent burning

Sauna Etiquette

  • Enter and exit the sauna with care
  • Remove shoes before entering
  • Always sit on a towel
  • Stay no longer than 20 minutes at a time (we recommend 5–15 mins)
  • Do not use essential oils without permission
  • Only swimwear may be worn — nudity is not permitted

If booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for informing all users of these terms and ensuring safe sauna use.


2. Terms & Conditions

3. Confirming Your Booking

  • Bookings must be made via our website and paid in full
  • We will send you a confirmation email when your booking is accepted
  • We may refuse bookings for various reasons including unavailability or reputational risk

4. Booking as a Business Customer

  • 50% deposit required at the time of booking (non-refundable)
  • Remaining 50% due one week before retreat date
  • These terms, booking form, and final details form the entire agreement

5. Price, Payment & Cancellations

  • Prices shown online include any chosen extras
  • Payment can be made online or by phone
  • Cancellation policy:
    • Full refund if cancelled 14+ days before event
    • 50% refund: 7–14 days
    • 25% refund: 48 hrs–7 days
    • No refund if cancelled less than 48 hours before
  • Retreat deposits are non-refundable

6. Changes to Your Booking

Please contact us if you want to amend your booking. We will let you know if changes are possible and confirm any changes in writing or over the phone.

7. If We Change or Postpone Your Booking

  • We may need to change/postpone for legal, technical, or emergency reasons
  • You’ll be contacted in advance unless urgent
  • You may cancel for a full refund if we postpone

8. Arrival & Departure

Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.

9. General Rules on Retreats

  • No nuisance or disruptive behaviour permitted
  • No amplified music or loud noise between 10:30pm–7:30am
  • No sky lanterns, fireworks, or sparklers
  • Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only allowed in designated areas

10. Food & Drink

You may bring your own food and soft drinks. Alcohol is not permitted.

11. Cancelling a Booking

Email [email protected] with your name, booking details, phone number, and email.

12. COVID-19 Policy

We follow government guidelines and have adapted our policies to cover COVID-related changes or cancellations.

13. Our Right to End the Contract

  • If your booking may involve illegal acts or harm our reputation
  • If you do not provide necessary information or breach the rules

14. Our Responsibility to Consumers

  • We are liable only for foreseeable losses from breach of contract
  • No liability for business losses
  • We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud

15. Our Responsibility to Business Customers

  • We are not liable for business losses, loss of data, revenue, or indirect losses
  • Total liability limited to the value of your contract

16. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for cancellations or delays caused by unforeseen events (e.g. pandemics, extreme weather, strikes). If cancellation is necessary, a full refund will be issued.

17. Personal Information

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

18. Other Legal Points

  • You may not transfer your booking without our permission
  • If a court finds any clause unlawful, the rest remains valid
  • English law governs the contract; legal proceedings may be brought in England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, depending on your residence
